  Ancak KaosGL.org 2007 yılında yayın hayatına başladı ve internet gazetesi ile yayıncılığını dijital ortama da taşıdı.

  Odaklanılan içerik:
  LGBTİ+ haklarının ihlali, insan haklarının gelişmesi, kültür-sanat, spor, aile, sosyal yaşam gibi konularda haber yayımlıyoruz.

  Tematik yazı dizilerimiz, cinsel sağlık, görsel kültür, askerlik süreci, HIV / AIDS alanlarında yoğunlaşıyor. Sitemizde ayrıca bir forum da yer alıyor. Bu forumda LGBTİ+ kişiler kendi hikayelerini paylaşabiliyor.

  Kurum ve karar verme mekanizması:
  KaosGL.org’un 3 editörü var. 2’si Ankara’da yaşıyor ve iş yoğunluğuna göre değişse de çoğunlukla aynı ofiste çalışıyor. Diğer editör İzmir’de ancak hep birlikte düzenli toplantılar yapıyoruz. Kararları birlikte almaya ve yürütmeye çalıştığımız bir ekibimiz var.

  Konu ve projeleri Kaos GL Derneği’nin politik hattına, Türkiyeli ve Türkiye’de yaşayan LGBTİ+‘ların ihtiyaçlarına göre belirliyoruz. Bu ihtiyaçları tespit etmek için okur anketleri düzenliyoruz.

  kaosGL.org sitesi, Gökkuşağı Projesi kapsamında, İsveç Uluslararası Kalkınma ve İşbirliği Kurumu SIDA tarafından destekleniyor.

• The history of KaosGL.org can be traced back to the first issue of KaosGL magazine, which was published on September 20, 1994, in fanzine format. A video (in Turkish) of the production process can be seen here:

  In 2007, the website KaosGL.org went online and began its digital journalistic existence with an Internet newspaper.

• Content Focus:

• It publishes work on issues of concern to the LGBTI+ community, including violation of anti-discrimination laws, developments in the field of human rights, arts and culture, sports, the family, and social issues.

  Regular features focus on sexual health issues, HIV / AIDS, visual culture, and military service. In addition, there is a website forum where LGBTI+ people can post their own stories.

• Organization and Decision-making Process:

• KaosGL.org works with three publishers. Two of them live in Ankara and work from an office, as and when their workload demands it; and the third publisher lives in Izmir. They meet regularly nevertheless, since they aspire to take decisions and operate as a team.

  The publishers define the subject areas and projects themselves, in line both with the political goals of the Kaos GL association and the needs of the LGBTI+ people who come from and/or live in Turkey. Reader surveys help identify what those needs are.

• Financing and Support:

• The KaosGL.org website receives funding from the Swedish Development Aid Agency SIDA, in the framework of the »Rainbow« project.
